As of Tuesday 03/30/10 the State EOC and NWS Grey Maine are calling for an additional 1-3 inches of rain through Wed.

As of 0700 on Tuesday 03/30/10 The state EOC and NWS Grey Maine are calling for an additonal 1-3 inches of rain with some localized higher amounts.

As of 0945 the only road in Epping that is closed is Prescott which remains closed for repair from the previous flooding event. I spoke with the DPW supervisor who advised that the repairs that have been done have held up well to this point and he anticipates this road to be open soon.

From the state environmental services flood map predictions. The Lamprey river on Monday was well below flood stage at 4.4 feet with a flood threshold of 8.0 they are predicting the Lamprey to reach flood crest near the Town of Newmarket at 11.0 sometime Wednesday 03/31/10 As of 0625 the Lamprey River in Eppping and more specificaly rte 27 at Mill St. and Main St. appeared to be well below flood stage.

Residents are still encouraged to use caution when traveling as there could be some localized flooding on low lying streets as well as areas that produce large puddles.
