National Weather Service Flood Watch Issued for Bergen
River Flood Warnings Issued 
A slow moving coastal storm system is predicted to bring
another 3 inches of rainfall to our area tonight into Tuesday (03/29) night.
This will bring the total rainfall accumulations for Bergen in the 3-5 inch range with potentially locally higher amounts.
The heaviest precipitation will be after midnight tonight.
Area rivers are expected to exceed flood stage. A flood warning is issued for:
Ramapo River at Mahwah (8 ft flood stage):
expected to reach a stage of 9.4 feet by tomorrow
afternoon.
Saddle River at Lodi (6 ft flood stage): expected to
reach 8.9 feet tomorrow morning.
Rivers are expected to start to recede tomorrow afternoon.
Urban and street flooding is also expected.
Winds are expected to be in the 5-15 MPH range tonight and 8-13 MPH range tomorrow.
