The national weather service has issued a flood warning for the Passaic river basin.

All residents who live along the Passaic river or who live in areas that were effected by the flood two weeks ago should take action to move your vehicle to higher ground and move items that need to be moved.

If needed OEM officials will issue an evacuation order to those in the most flood prone areas.

The present Passaic River elevation is 18.29 ffet and the river is projected to rise to 21.2 feet in the coming days.

Sand bags are now available behind town hall in the parking lot.
