Centerton Bridge in closed for emergency repairs. The extend of the repairs needed will be determined Monday. 
Historic Centerton Bridge over the Rancocas Creek North Branch that connects Willingboro and Westampton to Mount Laurel has been closed for emergency repairs.
It will be determined on Monday how long the bridge will be closed. The County Highway Bridge Section will perform the repairs.
Traffic normally accessing the bridge along Centerton Road (County Route 635) will be detoured to Creek Road (CR636), I-295 and Beverly-Rancocas Road (CR626). Centerton Road will be open to local traffic only on both sides of the bridge.
The center swing-span bridge was built 1903 by NJ Bridge Co. of Manasquan NJ. It is manually operated and in the National Register of Historic Places.
