On Monday, March 29th at 09:00 a.m., the Scott County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Swearing In Ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office Administration Conference Room in the Scott County Courthouse. Chris Carter has been hired as the newest deputy sheriff in Scott County.
Chris Carter grew up on his family farm in Princeton, Iowa, graduated from North Scott School, class of 2007, and studied Criminal Justice at Blackhawk Community College and the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. Chris was most recently employed by Scott County Conservation as a park ranger and resides in Princeton.
