There was a bank robbery 3/25/10 at 4435 Chippewa. Anyone with info should contact CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-8477.

The Metropolitan Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying an individual responsible for a robbery that occurred on March 25 at 1:58 p.m., at the St. Louis Community Credit Union located at 4435 Chippewa. The attached photos were taken during the incident.

The suspect, indicating he had a weapon, demanded and received cash from a bank teller. No one was hurt. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’11”, 250 pounds and 35-40 years old. He was wearing a black coat, gray jogging pants and a black hat with the word “Kangol” and a kangaroo graphic on the front. He had a noticeable gap between his two upper front teeth. The suspect drove away in a beige vehicle, possibly an older model Dodge sedan.
