The Beecher Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from plain view when securing their vehicles at anytime of the day or night. On 03/22/10 and 03/23/10, the police department responded to three incidents of unlocked vehicles being entered and gone through. In one incident, items were taken from the vehicle. It is believed these incidents are related to similar ones around the 2009 holiday season. It is imperative that residents lock their vehicles to prevent theft and place items, such as GPS units, laptop computers, and other electronics out of plain view to prevent theft.
