The Raritan Township Police Department has an important message for the community!

On Saturday, March 20, 2010 at approximately 6:20 PM police responded to a suspicious incident on Patrick Henry Place. An 8 year old girl reported to police that she was riding her bicycle near the intersection of Patrick Henry Place and Becks Boulevard. The girl added that there was a car stopped at that intersection as she approached. She told police that the driver of the car rolled his window down and waved his arm in what she thought was a manner to signal her to come to the vehicle. The girl said she started to scream and the vehicle drove off. The vehicle was described as an older model gray vehicle, possibly a two door Pontiac faded from sun damage, with an unkown registration. The driver was descibed as a white male, approximately 30-50 years of age, with wavy brown hair and a partial beard and mustache. Please contact the Raritan Township Police Department, Detective Division, at 908-782-8889 if you have any information about this vehicle, the driver or this incident.
