On 3/15, a white male with long blonde hair, wearing a gray uniform and in a gray unmarked car approached a homeowner. He claimed to work for an alarm company and talked the victim into revealing their alarm PIN- which they have now changed.

If you have given your alarm PIN out to anyone, you should change it immediately to avoid them being able to enter your home and not set off the alarm.

Anytime an employee shows up and you haven't called them, you should look at and scrutinize their uniform, vehicle and ID and verify they are legitimate before giving out personal information, etc. You can verify their employment by calling the company directly, but use the phone book or internet to find their phone number as the "employee" could give you their friend's phone number as part of the scam.
