*****UPDATE****3/10/2010, 8:30 AM. Sgt. Gross of Traffic Investigations was contacted yesterday at about 4:45 PM and advised that the driver in this accident had died as a result of his injuries. An autopsy has been requested.
***UPDATE*****3/8/2010, 2:10 PM. The driver injured in this accident remains hospitalized with what are being described as life threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
DETAILS: Officers were sent to a one-car roll over wreck at approximately 0430 on 3-7-10. A 1982 Buick 2 door had left the road and rolled over several times, ejecting the driver, in the 6800 block of East I-40 on the west bound frontal road.
AMS transported the driver, Bradley Gene Price, WM, 23 to a local hospital. He is in critical condition.
The Amarillo Police Dept. Traffic Investigation unit responded. The investigation is ongoing.
