Single Vehicle Crash, Alcohol Consumption May Have Contributed to Accident

On Tuesday, March 09, 2010 at approximately 1120hrs Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash in the 29000 block of 240th Ave, Scott County, IA.
It has been determined that a Black 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser was being driven north on 240th Ave, left the traveled portion of the roadway, and rolled on its top in the water filled roadside ditch.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside the vehicle for approximately fifteen minutes and was extricated by rescue personnel from the McCausland Volunteer Fire Department.
The driver has been identified as 48 year old Jacqueline Hahn-Wachtel of Princeton, IA. She was transported by Medic Ambulance to Genesis East Hospital in Davenport for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
It is believed that alcohol consumption was a contributing factor in this crash and the investigation continues by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
