Just before 6am this morning (3-3-10), APD officers were dispatched to the American Motor Inn @ 4541 Canyon Drive in attempt to locate two (2) fugitives from Tennessee. The AECC had received information from the Sumner Co Tennessee Sheriff’s Office that there were two possible fugitives staying at the motel who were wanted on bank robbery charges out of Tennessee. Officers went to the motel and located the two individuals. Taken into custody were Jonathan Cody Baxter W/M 20 and Mallary Renee Waldon W/F 23 both of Tennessee. A vehicle that Tennessee authorities believe may have been used in the robberies was located in an alley in the 300 block of Sunset. The vehicle was impounded to a local wrecker yard. Baxter had two outstanding warrants for robbery of a financial institution out of Tennessee; Waldon had an outstanding warrant out of Oklahoma for robbery by force as well as a stolen vehicle warrant out of Tennessee. Both subjects were transported and booked into the Randall County Jail.
