The Mercersburg Police Department is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.
Between sunset on July 14, 2009 and sunrise July 15, 2009, police received a report of an attempted Burglary and Criminal Mischief at the Mercersburg Lion's Park at 405 South Park Avenue.
Persons attempted to gain entry into a green storage building near the main building by using a fire brick in an attempt to knock the lock and hasp off the door. They were unable to gain entry into the shed, however, $50.00 of damage was done to the lock, hasp and the door.
