Piscataquog River to reach potential flood stage by 7 A.M. on 2/26/10. Residents in low lying areas to be impacted.
The Goffstown Police Department has received information that the Piscataquog River will be at the Action Stage (7 Feet) by 1 A.M. tomorrow morning. It is expected to crest at 8.8 Feet by 7 A.M. tomorrow morning. Flood stage for the Piscataquog River is 9 Feet. These levels are varying as the weather pattern and surface melt have an impact as well. Residents in the low lying, flood prone areas are asked to use caution. Any residents impacted are urged to contact the Goffstown Police and Fire Departments for assistance.
