Woman Arrested For DUI After Being Pulled Over For Motor Vehicle Violations

On Wednesday February 17, 2010 at approximately 1633 hours the Readington Police stopped a Tan Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Darlene Baldwin for several motor
vehicle violations.
During the stop, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and asked Baldwin to perform several standard field sobriety tests. Baldwin was arrested after failing to satisfactorily perform the field sobriety tests and transported to headquarters. Baldwin was processed and released to a friend awaiting a mandatory court appearance. Baldwin was charged with several motor vehicle violations including driving while intoxicated within 1000 feet of a school zone, speeding, and maintenance of lamps.
