Incident Report-Aggravated Kidnapping 
DETAILS : On 2/19/10, officers received a call to an east side residence reference a possible robbery. The seventeen and eighteen year old male victims provided descriptions of the suspects and the vehicle, a red four-door truck.
Officers stopped a similar truck in the area and the descriptions of the occupants matched the ones provided by the victims.
A firearm was located. The victims informed officers the male suspects pulled next to them as they were walking near Paramount / Western. The victims were ordered at gunpoint to get into the truck. While driving the victims to their house, the driver shot an Amarillo business several times while driving by. Bullets were recovered from the business.
No one was injured in the incident and it was still under investigation at the time of this release.
*****ADDITIONAL DETAIL per Crime Prevention Unit*******Officers responding to the 911 call at a home in the 4600 block of Pioneer saw a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle’s description.
It was westbound from 34th and S. Osage. The location and direction of travel indicated that it could be leaving the area of the call. Officers stopped the vehicle near 34th and Canyon, detained the two male occupants, and located a handgun in the vehicle.
The complainants told officers that the suspect or suspects took them to their home after making contact with them as described. The reporting person called 911 from inside his home and the stop resulted.
Officers located physical evidence of gunshots, bullet holes and a bullet, in a business at 4510 Tradewinds.
One of the vehicle’s occupants was released pending investigation. The driver of the truck, Adam Richard Lewis WM 26 of an Amarillo address, was booked into the Randall Co. Jail on charges of deadly conduct and aggravated kidnapping.
