Bonner County Sheriff's Office has received several complaints of phone fraud. Subjects incarcerated in Texas State prisons are making collect calls to people in Bonner County using the phone number (713) 507-0982. If you accept the call, the caller has been identifying themselves as a Deputy from the Harrison County Texas Sheriff's Office. The caller will ask you to place a call to a number he provides in order to avoid charges being charged to your phone, or to avoid having a prisoner released to your address. Calling the number provided places charges on your phone bill. We are advising the public not to accept or answer any call coming from (713) 507-0982.
