The suspect was taken into custody.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Lakewood Station with a barricaded armed domestic violence suspect. The incident was reported Friday, July 25, 2025 at approximately 10:52 a.m., on the 12000 block of 226th Street in the city of Hawaiian Gardens.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding area has been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
