Township of Moorestown Police Department
Tuesday February 9th, 2010 :: 01:57 p.m. EST

The Moorestown Fire Department is requesting your help in digging out fire hydrants near your home.

The Fire Marshal’s Office of the Moorestown Fire Department would like to ask all Home Owners to assist the Fire Department in guaranteeing a quick and successful response by having someone in your family or a neighboring child dig out a “36 inch walk up path” to the fire hydrant closest to your residence to help in protecting your neighborhood. The time that is saved by not having to dig out a fire hydrant could make the difference between saving your home or your neighbors’ home.

Having an established escape plan should include an outside meeting place; with all this snow that meeting place is even more important and should be reviewed with your family members.

All question can be forwarded to;
