The Fire Marshal’s Office of the Moorestown Fire Department would like to ask all Home Owners to assist the Fire Department in guaranteeing a quick and successful response by having someone in your family or a neighboring child dig out a “36 inch walk up path” to the fire hydrant closest to your residence to help in protecting your neighborhood. The time that is saved by not having to dig out a fire hydrant could make the difference between saving your home or your neighbors’ home.



Having an established escape plan should include an outside meeting place; with all this snow that meeting place is even more important and should be reviewed with your family members.
