ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department South LA Station are seeking assistance in locating Missing Juvenile, Sophia Mariel Cruz. Sophia was last seen on September 4, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of West 120th St, in the area of unincorporated Los Angeles.
She is described as a 13-year-old female Hispanic, 5’03”, 150 lbs., with long curly black hair, brown eyes and braces. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, black and white pants and had a black Jansport backpack.
Sophia's family is concerned for her well-being.
