With the prediction of heavy snow and high winds over the next 48 hours, we have sent you a few winter cleanup tips.

With the prediction of heavy snow and high winds over the next 48 hours, we have sent you a few winter cleanup tips.

-Please give plow and salt trucks plenty of room, if you cannot see their mirrors, they cannot see you.

-Do not park overnight on the streets, between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Vehicles parked on the street obstructing plow operations and may be ticketed.

-If possible, avoid parking on the street during heavy snow events.

-Please take your time while driving in heavy snow, plan ahead and give yourself extra time to reach your destination, drive slower and avoid unnecessary trips.

-Please do not stop plow trucks, the drivers have a lot of ground to cover. If you have issues of concerns, please call 483-4161.

-Clearing the snow from the city streets is a big job and we need your help and patience.
