Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has concluded its tactical response regarding the barricaded armed suspect at the 2000 Block of West Avenue I, Lancaster at approximately 1:10 a.m.
One suspect surrendered to Special Enforcement Bureau after chemical agents were deployed.
The area was deemed safe and all neighboring businesses were allowed to return to normal operations.
There is no additional information available at this time.

DATE: Friday, April 26, 2024
TIME: Approximately 7:30 p.m.
LOCATION: 2000 Block of West Avenue I, Lancaster.
SUSPECT: Male Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau- Lieutenant Dave Auner
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel responded to assist Lancaster Station personnel with a barricaded suspect. The incident was reported Friday, April 26, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the 2000 Block of West Avenue I, Lancaster.
SEB personnel assumed tactical command and a Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) will attempt to contact the suspect to bring this incident to a peaceful resolution.
The surrounding businesses have been evacuated for the safety of the others.
