UPCOMING SNOW/ICE THREAT: LIGHT SNOW / FLURRIES FRIDAY

A MAJOR WINTER STORM CONTAINING LOTS OF MOISTURE WILL HEAD TOWARD THE EAST COAST ON FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY MORNING WITH THE BULK OF THE PRECIPITATION REMAINING SOUTH OF THE AREA. HOWEVER THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF AT LEAST 3 TO PERHAPS AS MUCH AS 8 INCHES OF SNOW IN THE AREA BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS OFF LATE SATURDAY MORNING. BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE IN THIS STORM IF THE STORM TRACK SHIFTS FURTHER NORTH SNOW AMOUNTS HERE COULD BE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER.
