On Monday, 2/01/2010, Harper Woods officers responded to the 21200 block of Parkcrest on a report of 4 male suspects running through the rear yards and jumping fences. Officers were in the area and observed two male subjects who matched the description on Wildwood near Arthur. While the subjects were being investigated, other Harper Woods officers began checking the area and discovered an attempted home invasion on Kenmore. Officers made contact with the homeowner who was still unaware that her home was the target of a break-in. The subjects were arrested and held without bond on Felony charges. Officers did not locate any other subjects in this incident.

Ashton Listenbee, 17 years old, and Delvonte Merriweather, 17 years old, both residents of Harper Woods were arraigned in 32A District Court this afternoon. Both subjects were charged with Attempted Home Invasion. Merriweather was placed on $5000.00 10% bond. Listenbee was placed on $5000.00 cash/surety bond. Next court date for both will be February 17, 2010.
