Arlington Police investigating cigarette theft at a local convenience store

Arlington police are investigating the report of a recent cigarette theft at a local convenience store. On Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at about 3 a.m., two men walked into a 7-Eleven store in the 4200 block of Park Springs Boulevard. The suspects walked behind the counter, pulled out a large bag and took individual packs and cartons of cigarettes from the store. The men left the location northbound on foot. The clerk was not harmed during the incident.

The suspects were both wearing dark clothing, heavy winter coats, and hats. Photos of the suspects taken from surveillance footage are attached to this email.

Arlington police are asking for the public’s help with identifying these suspects. Anyone with information on this offense is asked to call Detective Sammy Phillips at 817 459-6054, or Crimestoppers at (817) 469-TIPS (8477). All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
