ATTENTION COMMUTERS, RESIDENTS, AND BUSINESSES IN THE VICINITY OF THE SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (I-405) BETWEEN WILSHIRE BLVD. AND MORAGA DR.



As part of the pre-construction activities for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the Contractor will temporarily delineate traffic lanes on the San Diego Freeway (I-405). This night time activity requires full freeway lane and ramp closures.



What: Full Freeway Lane and Ramp Closures to delineate temporary traffic lanes on the northbound I-405 between Wilshire Blvd. and Moraga Dr.



When: Night-time work for freeway lane and ramp closures will begin the night of Friday, January 29, 2010 and morning of Saturday, January 30, 2010. Ramp closures may start as early as 8:00pm, followed by freeway lane closures at 9:00pm, and full freeway closures from 1:00am to 6:00am. The freeway will begin to re-open to thru traffic at 6:00am.



Night of Monday, February 1, 2010 thru the morning of Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Ramp closures may start as early as 8:00pm, followed by freeway lane closures at 9:00pm, and full freeway closures from 12:00am to 5:00am. The freeway will begin to re-open to thru traffic at 5:00am.



Where: San Diego Freeway (I-405) northbound between Wilshire Blvd. and Moraga Dr.

· Santa Monica Blvd on-ramp to northbound I-405



· Wilshire Blvd. Eastbound/Westbound on-ramps to northbound I-405



· Montana Ave. off-ramp from northbound I-405



· Sunset Blvd. on-ramp to northbound I-405



· Sunset Blvd. off-ramp from northbound I-405



What to expect:

Segment schedule and corresponding detour maps will be available at www.metro.net/I-405 prior to the related work activities.
There will be the same number of thru traffic lanes as there are currently at the completion of this activity.
